In September 1965, aged 17, I made the final
arrangements to leave my home, near
Muirfield in Scotland, to caddy on the
USPGA Tour.
The 6 months adventure took me 15000 miles via Latrobe, Pinehurst, Pebble Beach, Palm Springs, Doral and Augusta where I assisted Henry Longhurst at the Masters.
On the Tour I caddied for Arnold Palmer, Tony Lema, Gene Sarazen, Neil Coles . . .
What happened is now available on a 2hr
DVD for hire by Golf Clubs.
I am also available to host the event in
person.
The 2hr DVD includes a Not Seen On TV comedy film of Lee Trevino &
Jackie Stewart v Max Faulkner & Sean
Connery at Walton Heath, venue of the 1981
Ryder Cup.
This 2 ball foursome match was
